Lynda Sue Mabry - 1946-11-09 to 2024-07-16
Lynda Sue Mabry was born on November 9, 1946, in Atlanta, Georgia, and built a distinguished legal career in Nevada spanning some 45 years. She graduated summa cum laude from UCLA and went on to earn her law degree from UCLA School of Law, where she was a member of the UCLA Law Review and participated on the Moot Court Team.
Her legal career in Nevada began with a clerkship at the Nevada Supreme Court, after which she joined the Las Vegas firm of Lionel Sawyer & Collins, where she practiced for 37 years. In 2015 she moved to Hejmanowski & McCrea, continuing her practice there until her retirement in 2023.
Mabry was widely respected within the profession. She earned the highest ratings in competence and ethics in the Martindale-Hubbell national law directory and was listed in Best Lawyers in America. She passed away on July 16, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 77.
