Marilyn V. Romanelli

Marilyn Romanelli Felesky was born June 6, 1927, in Staten Island, New York. She graduated from Wagner College in 1948 and earned her law degree from Brooklyn Law in 1951, launching a legal career that would eventually take her west.

The family moved to Las Vegas in 1970, where Marilyn built her practice specializing in negligence and matrimonial law. She often took on hardship cases, a commitment to service recognized in 2002 when she was named Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year. She remained a regular at the courthouse until the last.

Marilyn Romanelli Felesky passed away August 14, 2015, in Las Vegas at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Felesky, and is survived by her daughter, Dee Bell.
