Mark H. Lipton - 1946 to 2018

Mark H. Lipton graduated from the University of California at Berkeley and earned his law degree from U.C. Berkeley (Boalt Hall). He was admitted to practice law in the State of California in 1972, in Nevada in 2003, and in the Northern District of Florida Federal Court in 2012.

Over a career spanning more than 40 years, Mr. Lipton practiced employee benefit law, concentrating on Social Security Disability and Taft-Hartley/ERISA matters and representing both benefit plans and individuals. As Of Counsel to Neyhart, Anderson, Flynn & Grosboll - a firm engaged exclusively in union-side labor law - he represented apprentice training funds and the largest private workers compensation alternate dispute resolution program in California.

For many years Mr. Lipton was a speaker at International Foundation of Employee Benefits conferences and contributed articles to its Journal on subjects including disability benefits, pension plan mergers, fiduciary duty and prohibited transactions, and workers compensation alternate dispute resolution programs. He passed away in 2018.
