Marshall A. Bouvier Jr.

Marshall Andre Bouvier Jr. was born on September 30, 1923, and was raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He pursued his higher education at Emory University, where he earned his law degree. His early career was devoted to military service, as he joined the United States Navy and served as a Naval Aviator for twenty years before his retirement.

Following his naval career, Mr. Bouvier turned to the practice of law in Nevada. He was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 1960 and went on to serve as an attorney for the State of Nevada, while also maintaining a private practice from 1960 to 1988. Over nearly three decades in the profession, he was known among those he served for his support and guidance.

Mr. Bouvier made his home in Virginia City, Nevada, in his later years, where he was remembered for his devotion to the Catholic faith and to Saint Mary's of the Mountain Church. He passed away peacefully at his home in Virginia City on May 22, 2012, at the age of 88.
