Matthew T. Dushoff

Matthew Todd Dushoff was a respected Las Vegas attorney whose career spanned more than three decades of Nevada practice. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, cum laude, from the University of Arizona in 1987, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law in 1990. Admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 1993, he was also admitted to practice in New York, where he served earlier in his career as a public defender in New York City.

Mr. Dushoff served the State of Nevada as a Deputy Attorney General in the Office of the Attorney General, where he represented state agencies in commercial litigation and administrative law matters, including the Nevada Taxicab Authority, the Nevada Labor Commission, the Department of Motor Vehicles, the Real Estate Division, and the Employee Management Relations Board. He went on to become a shareholder at Saltzman Mugan Dushoff, PLLC, building a practice focused on administrative and regulatory law, liquor law and privilege licensing, litigation and appeals, and healthcare industry litigation.

Recognized throughout his career for his skill as a litigator, Mr. Dushoff was named a Mountain States Super Lawyer for multiple years and was honored among the National Trial Lawyers Association's Top 100 Trial Lawyers. He was active in the American Bar Association, its Health Law Division, and the American Health Lawyers Association. Beyond his legal work, he gave generously to his community, serving as past president of the Nevada Coalition Against Sexual Violence, a board member of the Rape Crisis Center, and a board member of Candlelighters for Childhood Cancer. He was remembered by colleagues for his integrity, dedication to his clients, and his ever-present sense of humor.
