Michael J. Amador Sr.

Michael J. Amador was born on December 13, 1954, in Hollywood, California, to Orlando and Estelle Amador. He earned his law degree from the University of San Diego on May 25, 1980, setting the foundation for a career that would span four decades in Nevada.

Mr. Amador practiced law for 40 years in Las Vegas, where he built an extensive and enduring legal practice. Over the course of his career he became a familiar and respected presence in the Las Vegas legal community, dedicating himself to the profession from his admission to the Nevada bar in 1981 until his passing.

Michael J. Amador died on February 12, 2021, at the age of 66. He was survived by his father, Orlando; his three sons, Michael, Steven, and Brad; his four brothers, Jack, Bob, Tom, and Mark; his four grandchildren; and his former wife and best friend, Maggie, along with cousins, nieces, and nephews.
