Michael J. Morey

Michael James Morey was a respected Nevada attorney who devoted his career to advocating for and protecting the legal rights of those he served. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver in 1997 and relocated to Las Vegas to practice law, where he was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 1999. Throughout his practice he was remembered as a distinguished attorney and a scholar who brought both dedication and intellect to his work.

Beyond the law, Michael was a man of wide-ranging talents and accomplishments. He was a competitive martial artist who won several local and national titles in Judo, and a gifted actor who pursued the dramatic arts, appearing in the film 'Sterling Silver' (2015) and preparing for a role in '1 Interrogation' (2016). He was also an avid sports fan, with a particular devotion to the Denver Broncos.

Earlier in his life, Michael served as an Army artillery officer and military police officer, with postings in Oklahoma, the DMZ in Korea, and Colorado. He passed away on September 4, 2015, at the age of 52, remembered as a scholar, a respected attorney, a gifted actor, and a competitive martial artist.
