Miriam F. Penney

Miriam F. "Mim" Penney was born February 12, 1941, in Washington, D.C. She built her career as a leading tax attorney and was a 21-year resident of Nevada, making her home in Henderson.

Beyond her legal practice, Mim earned distinction as a former top female money winner in the World Series of Poker, recording four in-the-money finishes, including a second-place finish in 1991.

Mim Penney passed away on February 5, 2009, at the age of 67. She was survived by her son and her brother.
