Nedda Ghandi was a respected Las Vegas attorney whose career centered on family law, bankruptcy, and complex litigation. Born on September 5, 1979, in Iran, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of San Francisco and earned her law degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas, Nevada. Admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 2008, she built a practice known for its dedication to clients and its command of difficult, high-stakes cases.
In 2011, Nedda founded Ghandi Law Offices, which under her leadership grew into the widely respected boutique firm of Ghandi Deeter Blackham. Her work spanned individual and business debtor bankruptcy as well as complex family law matters, often involving family-owned businesses and contested custody disputes. Her sharp intellect, steadfast determination, and deep commitment to her clients earned her the respect of colleagues, clients, and the judiciary alike.
Nedda served as President of the Clark County Bar Association in 2022, championing initiatives to strengthen legal services and support the broader community. She was an active member of the Nevada Justice Association, where she focused on empowering female trial attorneys, and she was a devoted mentor to new lawyers and aspiring entrepreneurs. Nedda passed away on January 8, 2025, in Las Vegas, and is survived by her mother, Mariam, and her sister, Elle.
