Paul Stephen Goldman

Paul Stephen Goldman built a legal career of public service across Nevada. He began as a Navy lieutenant serving as an attorney in the Judge Advocate General's office, and around 1969 he settled in Las Vegas, where he would spend the rest of his professional life in the law.

In Nevada, Goldman served as legal counsel for Reynolds Electric and Engineering Co., then the contractor at the Nevada Test Site. He went on to serve the public as a deputy district attorney and later as an assistant attorney general, before ascending to the bench. He was appointed a District Court Judge in Department 10 of the Eighth Judicial District Court in March 1974 and was subsequently elected to that office.

Judge Goldman died in September 1991 in an automobile accident while traveling to Pahrump. He is remembered as an attorney and jurist who devoted his career to Nevada's courts and to the service of its people.
