R. Glen Woods

R. Glen Woods was born in Burlingame, California, to Robert and Helen Woods. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in 1981 and went on to graduate from BYU's J. Reuben Clark Law School, launching a legal career that would span more than three decades across the western United States.

Admitted to the Utah State Bar in 1981, the Nevada State Bar in 1990, and the Arizona Bar in 2001, Glen built his practice in Southern Nevada and became a leader in the Las Vegas legal community. He served as managing partner of Woods Erickson Whitaker & Maurice LLP in Henderson, where he concentrated his work in federal and state taxation, estate planning, trusts and gift taxation, and general business representation. He was known for guiding individuals, families, and small businesses through complex tax and planning matters.

Glen was survived by his wife, Luz; his sons, Kyle and Kent; and his daughters, Kimberly, Ashley, Angie, and Lacey. He is remembered for his dedication to his clients, his profession, and his family.
