Robert A. Grayson

Robert A. Grayson was born March 2, 1940, in Redlands, California, to John (Jack) and Helen Grayson. He was raised in Salinas, California, where he graduated from Salinas High School, and went on to attend the University of Redlands and Harvard University law school.

Bob settled in Carson City in the mid-1960s, where he built his legal career and practiced law for nearly five decades. He continued in practice until his retirement from the Carson Legal Clinic in 2015, serving the Carson City community throughout his long tenure in the profession.

Beyond his law practice, Bob was active in the Carson City Kiwanis for many years. He had a great love of travel, especially cruises, and enjoyed the company of the many friends he made over his years of cooking chili competitively as 'Hot Air Bob' with the International Chili Society. He passed away peacefully at his home on February 18, 2018.
