Robert A. "Bob" Massi - 1951 to 2019-02-07

Robert A. "Bob" Massi was a Las Vegas attorney who built a decades-long career in Nevada civil litigation. He had been in Las Vegas since the 1970s and started his own practice in 1980, later leading the Henderson-based firm Massi & Massi alongside his son. A graduate of Mount Saint Mary's College and St. Mary's University School of Law, he represented clients across personal injury, business, real estate, wills and trusts, bringing more than 28 years of courtroom experience to his practice.

Massi became widely known as a legal commentator, beginning his local television work in Las Vegas in 1985 with segments such as "Legal Ease" on Channel 8 and later serving as a legal analyst for FOX5 KVVU-TV. He joined Fox News as one of its earliest legal analysts after the network launched in 1996 and offered analysis on a number of high-profile trials. He went on to host "Bob Massi Is the Property Man" on Fox Business Network, earning the nickname "The Property Man" for his work helping Americans understand real estate and housing issues.

Beyond his legal and broadcasting work, Massi authored the 2007 book "People Get Screwed All the Time," which addressed scams, fraud, and identity theft. He died on February 7, 2019, at the age of 67, following a battle with cancer.
