David C. Schubert

David C. Schubert was a Nevada attorney admitted to the State Bar on December 21, 2001. He built his legal career in Clark County, where he served for roughly a decade as a prosecutor, ultimately rising to the position of Chief Deputy District Attorney in the Clark County District Attorney's Office.

As a prosecutor, Mr. Schubert handled a number of high-profile drug cases in Las Vegas. Among the matters he prosecuted were the cases involving entertainers Paris Hilton and Bruno Mars, the latter of which he handled in 2011. His work placed him at the center of some of the most closely watched criminal proceedings in the county during his tenure.

Mr. Schubert was 49 years old at the time of his death, which occurred at his home in Las Vegas on July 17, 2013.
