Rona-Kaye T. Tuitele

Rona-Kaye Taufanua Tuitele, Esq., built her legal career in public service in Nevada. She earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and her Juris Doctorate from the William S. Boyd School of Law, where she was noted as the youngest graduate of her class. She was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 2008.

Tuitele served as a Deputy Attorney General in the Civil Division of the Nevada Attorney General's Office in Las Vegas. In recognition of her early accomplishments in that role, she received the Attorney General's Office Rookie of the Year Award in 2009 - an honor given annually to a deputy attorney general nominated by a supervising attorney who has been in the office for eighteen months or less. Her selection continued a run of Boyd School of Law graduates earning the distinction.

Remembered by colleagues and family for her sweet, kind, and good-humored nature, Tuitele was 32 years old at the time of her death in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
