Samuel Boyd Francovich

Samuel Boyd Francovich was a longtime Reno, Nevada, attorney whose legal career in northern Nevada spanned much of the second half of the twentieth century. Admitted to the Nevada bar in 1949, he built his practice in Reno and remained an active member of the state's legal community for decades.

Over the course of his career, Francovich appeared before the Nevada Supreme Court, including serving as counsel for the City of Reno in the reported case City of Reno v. Saibini (1967). His work placed him among the attorneys representing the municipality in matters that reached the state's highest court.

Samuel Boyd Francovich died in 1991 at the age of 70. His passing was noted in the Reno Gazette-Journal, which published his obituary that May.
