Samuel Frank Stapleton

Samuel Frank Stapleton, who practiced law in Las Vegas as S. Frank Stapleton, was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada on October 2, 1989. He earned his law degree at the University of Arkansas School of Law and went on to build a solo practice in Las Vegas, where his work centered on general practice and government matters.

The law was a later chapter in a life already rich with accomplishment. Before entering the profession, Stapleton was a dedicated educator who was honored more than once as Teacher of the Year at Eastern New Mexico University. He came to his career after a lifetime of wide experience, having served his country as a Marine during the Korean War.

Born on November 12, 1934, in Paintsville, Kentucky, Stapleton was one of ten children and was remembered by those who knew him for his integrity, his heart, and his ability to see the best in others. Beyond his professional life he was an avid traveler who had been all over the world and held national powerlifting records in the United States. He died on May 28, 2024, at the age of 89.
