James Gantt Griffin

James Gantt Griffin, Esq., was a Las Vegas attorney dedicated to public interest law. Born July 2, 1981, in Loma Linda, California, he was a long-time resident of Las Vegas, where he graduated from Horizon High School. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Redlands in California.

Mr. Griffin received his Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2009, and was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada that same year. He practiced law at the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, where he realized his goal of helping those who otherwise could not afford expert legal representation.

James Gantt Griffin died January 15, 2013, in Las Vegas at the age of 31. He is remembered for his commitment to serving members of his community who most needed an advocate.
