Samuel Simon Anter

Samuel S. Anter was born in Central Falls, Rhode Island. After eagerly enlisting in the U.S. Navy and serving during World War II, he pursued his education at Boston University Law School. He went on to practice law in Rhode Island for a decade and served on the City Council in Central Falls before relocating west.

Mr. Anter moved to Las Vegas in November 1963 and passed the Nevada State Bar, beginning a long career in the practice of law. He devoted himself to family law, serving clients in the community until his retirement in 2020. Those who knew him remarked that Sam loved being an attorney more than anything.

He was 94 years old at the time of his passing. He was married to Barbara for 52 years, and together they raised three children - Kimberly, James, and Timothy - and were blessed with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
