Terrence Michael Jackson

Terrence Michael Jackson - known to many as Terry - was a longtime Nevada attorney whose legal career spanned nearly five decades. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, on October 15, 1946, he moved to Las Vegas as a young child and made the city his home for more than 70 years. He graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1964 and went on to earn a mathematics degree from Oregon State University before pursuing his legal studies at Howard University.

Admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 1975, Terry devoted much of his professional life to public service, spending 25 years with the Clark County Public Defender's Office. His commitment to representing those in need reflected a career grounded in advocacy and dedication to his clients.

Following his years in the Public Defender's Office, Terry established a private law practice, continuing to serve the Las Vegas legal community. Over a legal career of 48 years, he built a lasting reputation as a dedicated member of the Nevada bar. He passed away peacefully at home on June 2, 2025.
