Thomas E. Crowe

Thomas Edmund Crowe was born on January 1, 1953, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and grew up in the city's Germantown section. He attended LaSalle College High School and went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Temple University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School in 1979.

In the mid-1980s, Tom moved to Las Vegas, where he began his career working for the Internal Revenue Service before establishing his own practice, Thomas E. Crowe Professional Law Corporation. Over the following decades he built a prominent tax and bankruptcy practice focused on dispute resolution and litigation. He was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Nevada as well as the bars of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and he was admitted to the United States District Court and the United States Supreme Court. He also served as a former Special Assistant United States Attorney.

Remembered by colleagues for his fearlessness in the courtroom - one recalled that "Tom wasn't afraid of doing anything" - he devoted more than three decades to the practice of law in Nevada. Thomas E. Crowe passed away on March 22, 2021, at the age of 68.
