Thomas Michael Stark

Thomas Michael Stark was born February 9, 1943, in Kansas and grew up in Salina, Kansas. A self-described proud Jayhawk, he earned both his bachelor's degree and his law degree from the University of Kansas. During the Vietnam era he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, which put his legal training to use by sending him to Officer Training School in Texas, where he graduated first in his class.

After his military service, Tom and his wife Marilyn settled in Las Vegas in 1976, where he practiced law and took extraordinary care of his clients until his retirement. Over the course of his career he built a reputation for devoted attention to those he represented, and he remained a fixture of the Las Vegas legal community for decades.

Beyond his practice, Tom was deeply committed to his community. He was a member of the Host Lions Club for 47 years, serving twice as its president, and he served on the board of the Lions Eye Foundation as well as on the board and as past president of the Nevada Donor Network. He was also a Mason and a Shrine member. Thomas Michael Stark passed away March 17, 2025, in Las Vegas at the age of 82.
