Thomas W. Davis II

Thomas Wayne Davis II was a Las Vegas business and corporate attorney whose legal career spanned more than four decades in Nevada. A native of Wisconsin, he graduated from Brown Deer High School in 1975 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance from Marquette University in 1979. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor with honors from Marquette University Law School in 1982, where he served on Law Review, and was admitted to practice in both Wisconsin and Nevada.

Beginning his career in Las Vegas in 1982, Davis joined the firm of Galane & Jimmerson as an associate. Known for his intelligence and work ethic, he became a partner in the firm of Jimmerson & Davis, and in 2007 became a partner at Howard & Howard, where he practiced for more than seventeen years until his passing. Throughout his career he concentrated on business and corporate law and built a respected practice serving his clients.

Davis also gave his time to the profession and the community, serving as Chairman of the Nevada State Bar Consumer Protection Committee. He was a board member and past President of the Family and Child Treatment Center of Southern Nevada, and a board member of the Foundation for an Independent Tomorrow. He died on January 2, 2025, at the age of 67.
