Tyson K Ramsay

Tyson Kemp Ramsay built his legal career in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he practiced law for eleven years. He earned his law degree at the University of Mississippi, the foundation for the profession he would pursue in Nevada until his death in 2003.

Born on January 11, 1960, Tyson was the seventh child of Clarence and Shirley Ramsay and was raised in Monticello, where he was active in church and school activities and excelled in tennis, wrestling, baseball, diving, and racquetball. As a young man he served a mission for the LDS Church in the Canada Winnipeg Mission before undertaking his legal studies.

Tyson was married to Elizabeth Grindstaff, and together they were the parents of five children. He is remembered for his dedication to his profession, his faith, and his family.
