Leonard E. Mackedon

Leonard Ernest Mackedon was born on May 13, 1974, in Fallon, Nevada. He graduated as salutatorian of Churchill County High School and went on to the University of Nevada, Reno, where he studied chemistry. He then attended law school in Moscow, Idaho, earning his law degree in 2007.

After completing his legal education, Mackedon returned to his hometown of Fallon to practice law alongside his father. He was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada on April 29, 2008. Over the course of his career he was voted repeatedly as Fallon's "Best Attorney," earning a reputation for a strong record in the courtroom and a larger-than-life presence in the community he served.

Beyond his legal practice, Mackedon was deeply committed to the young people of Fallon, helping to feed and mentor the many children who were members of the Fallon Youth Club. He passed away on November 16, 2021.
