Victoria L Nelson

Victoria L. "Vicki" Nelson built a distinguished legal career in Las Vegas as an attorney and federal bankruptcy trustee. Born April 20, 1957 and raised in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, she began her working life as a legal secretary before earning an accounting degree from Penn State University in 1987 - a course she completed in three years while working full-time. She went on to law school at Ohio Northern University, graduating in 1990 after winning the school's prestigious Moot Court Competition.

In 1992 Vicki moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she made her professional home. She joined the law firm of Holley, Driggs, Walch, where she eventually became a partner, and in 2014 she established her own law firm. She was appointed a Federal Bankruptcy Trustee, work for which she was widely respected.

Colleagues and friends remembered her as a hard-driving lawyer whose fierce loyalty, warmth, and infectious laughter carried through professional challenges and illness alike. Victoria L. Nelson died on January 13, 2018, at the age of 60.
