Virginia Louise Hunt was a Las Vegas attorney who became one of the nation's preeminent practitioners in the field of workers' compensation law. Born January 11, 1954, in Utica, New York, she graduated from the University of San Diego Law School in 1979 and went on to be admitted to the bars of both California and Nevada.
For some thirty years she maintained the Virginia L. Hunt Law Office in Nevada, building a distinguished practice devoted to workers' compensation matters. Her standing in the field earned her recognition as one of the country's leading attorneys in that specialty, and she was also a published writer.
Beyond the law, Virginia was an avid horseperson who won awards for her equestrian prowess. She passed away on April 4, 2016, at her Las Vegas home.
