Warren W. Goedert

Warren W. Goedert built a legal career spanning four decades in Northern Nevada. He attended the United States Naval Academy for two years before leaving to pursue his legal education at the University of San Francisco School of Law, setting the course for a lifetime devoted to the practice of law.

Over his many years in practice, Mr. Goedert became a fixture of the Reno legal community, practicing with the firm of Goedert & Michaels in downtown Reno. His work encompassed litigation and personal injury matters, and he was known for his sustained commitment to his clients across the region.

Among the accomplishments of which he was most proud were his efforts on behalf of women in their fight to break the glass ceiling and his work holding financial institutions accountable for taking advantage of the community's elderly. His long service reflected a career grounded in advocacy for those he believed had been wronged.
