Werner Herman Tobeler

Werner Herman "Toby" Tobeler, known to friends and colleagues as Toby, was born in Detroit, Michigan, to Paul and Wanda Tobeler. He served aboard the U.S.S. Wren during the Korean conflict, and after his military service he supported his family working in several professions before pursuing and finally achieving his lifelong ambition of becoming an Attorney at Law.

Mr. Tobeler built a long and successful legal practice in Reno, Nevada, where he was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada. Over many years of practice he was remembered as generous with his time and counsel, always ready to help in any matter or for any need, and known among those who worked with him as an icon of his era.

After many years of practice, Mr. Tobeler retired to his home in Shelter Cove, California, where he enjoyed fishing and golf. He passed away on February 18, 2013, in Yuma, Arizona, and was remembered by his many friends and family.
