Wilbur Ward Jennings

Wilbur Ward Jennings was born on November 8, 1931 in St. George, Utah, and was raised in Rockville, Utah. He completed eight years of higher education, paying for it entirely on his own. He earned an associate degree from Southern Utah University, a bachelor of science with honors in secondary education from Brigham Young University, and a Juris Doctor from George Washington University.

Mr. Jennings was admitted to practice by examination in Utah, California, and Nevada, passing the bar in each state on his first attempt. Following his graduation from law school, he moved to Los Angeles, California in 1959 to serve as an attorney for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He was later promoted to Regional Attorney, relocating to Walnut Creek, California in 1972.

Mr. Jennings made his home in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he lived until his retirement, before returning to Hurricane, Utah in 2000. He passed away in 2017.
