William K. Skaggs

William Kerry Skaggs built his legal career in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he practiced for many years as a personal injury and civil litigation attorney. He founded and led the Law Office of William Kerry Skaggs, LLC, devoting his practice to representing injured clients and advocating on their behalf in civil matters.

He was recognized for his leadership and service by the State Bar of Nevada. Beyond his private practice, he gave generously of his professional skills, providing pro bono legal services to homeless veterans and helping to establish the Pro Bono Legal Clinic at the Las Vegas Veterans' Administration - work that reflected a lasting commitment to those in need.

An adventurous spirit outside the courtroom, he completed the 500-mile Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in Spain in 2018 and traveled widely. After returning to Kentucky, he was named a Kentucky Colonel in 2020 in honor of his dedication to community service. William Kerry Skaggs died on December 20, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 60.
