Yvette R. Freedman

Yvette Robinson Freedman, born Yvette Yolanda Robinson on March 6, 1975 in Boston, Massachusetts, built a legal career grounded in scholarship and appellate work. She graduated from Boston University in 1997 with a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy, and in 2001 earned her J.D., cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School in Boston.

Early in her career she served as a law clerk to Justice Rudolph Kass of the Massachusetts Appeals Court and to Justice James Duggan of the New Hampshire Supreme Court, gaining a foundation in appellate practice before moving to Las Vegas in 2005. She was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada on April 4, 2007, holding bar number 9898, and had been practicing law since 2003.

In Las Vegas she established the Law Office of Yvette R. Freedman, where she concentrated her practice on business litigation and insurance defense. She continued serving Nevada clients until her death on August 11, 2020.
