Licensees under the state private-investigator licensing statute (NRS chapter 648): private investigators, private patrol and security companies, process servers, repossessors, polygraph examiners, security consultants, and dog handlers. The license category appears on each licensee's board verification document and is being added record by record.

The licensing board publishes license status on each licensee's verification document, not in its public index - status is shown as "not verified" until that document has been checked.
